UFC president Dana White was less than thrilled with the comments Matt Mitrione made Monday on “The MMA Hour” regarding Fallon Fox (pictured). The controversial transgender fighter has finally responded to the UFC heavyweight, and to the surprise of nobody, the male-turned-female scrapper didn’t appreciate Mitrione’s insensitive insults, either.

“Matt Mitrione went well beyond disagreeing with the medical experts who say I should be able to compete as a woman, and personally attacked me as a fighter, as a woman, and as a human being,” Fallon posted on her official Facebook page Tuesday evening. “His comments do not reflect the spirit of our sport, where most competitors uphold values like respect and dignity.”

In addition to referring to the 37-year-old Fallon as a “he” throughout the interview, Mitrione called her a “sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak” – among many other things.

The UFC swiftly moved to distance themselves from Mitrione by suspending his contract in order to conduct an investigation.

Fox underwent gender reassignment, breast augmentation and hair transplant surgeries in Bangkok in 2006. She owns a 2-0 professional record, with both wins coming against unsuspecting females.

Fox is currently slated to compete May 24 at CFA 11, but Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation is presently investigating her licensing.
