After Roy Nelson (pictured) put Cheick Kongo to sleep with a vicious overhand right at UFC 159 on Saturday night, UFC president Dana White said he already has two opponents in mind for “Big Country.”

One is just a week removed from beating Frank Mir at UFC on FOX 7, while the other fights former champ Junior dos Santos at UFC 160.

“Me and [UFC matchmaker Joe Silva] never talk about fights the night of the fights, but we talked tonight,” White said at the post-fight press conference. “And we like Roy Nelson vs. [Daniel] Cormier, or Roy Nelson – if Mark Hunt wins – Roy and Mark.”

Cormier, who admittedly “laid an egg” in his big league debut with a unanimous decision victory over Mir, was clearly lurking on Twitter late last night. The former Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix winner quickly accepted the hypothetical bout after White’s comment.

“Hey @danawhite ur right I think Roy nelson and I would be a damn good fight,” Cormier tweeted. “How about it @roynelsonmma?”

As for Nelson, he’s down for anything. The veteran is simply here to please the masses.

“I’m there. Whatever,” Nelson deadpanned. “I want to fight the best in world. Fighting Daniel, he’s an Olympian. I’m more than happy to welcome him to the UFC. As for Mark Hunt, if he can get past JDS, that’d be great. And even if he doesn’t, I’d still fight Mark Hunt because I know the fans want to see that one.

“So, I’m all about making everybody happy.”

All parties seem to agree, so it’s just a matter of Nelson, Cormier and White putting pen to paper.
