Who scores two ESPN the Magazine covers in less than one year? UFC bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey (pictured) does, of course.
Calm yourselves, hornballs. Rousey’s latest appearance isn’t nearly as risqué as last July’s debut with the magazine when she donned her birthday suit for their annual “The Body Issue.”
Regardless, a UFC fighter receiving mainstream love marks another significant victory for mixed martial arts.
Rousey is one of four athletes to grace the cover of the commemorative issue, which celebrates ESPN the Magazine’s 15-year anniversary.
In addition to the “Rowdy” one, Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III and Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin score covers.
Rousey owns a perfect 7-0 professional MMA record. The 26-year-old has finished off all of her victims in first round armbar fashion.
The issue hits newsstands this Friday.
