Courtesy of injured ribs, CFA 11 now has a new main event. The promotion reported heavyweight Valentijn Overeem (pictured) will have to withdraw from his May 24 shootout with Mike Kyle because of the injury.

Veteran Travis Wiuff has agreed to serve as a last-minute substitute and rematch Kyle. The two previously battled to a no contest in 2010.

“Everyone at CFA wishes Valentijn Overeem a fast recovery from the rib injury he incurred this week,” said CFA CEO Jorge de la Noval. “He had to pull out of this fight, but fortunately we have found a replacement.

“Their first fight in 2010 was ruled a no contest and now, three years later, they finally have a chance to settle the score and to do it for all their fans.”

While Kyle vs. Wiuff 2 technically serves as the show’s featured attraction, best believe all eyes will be on Fallon Fox when she makes her controversial return to action. The transgender fighter meets Allanna Jones in the featherweight tournament semifinals in the card’s co-main event.

AXS TV broadcasts the main card live starting at 9PM ET/6PM PT.

The event takes place inside BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida.
