UFC Light Heavyweight Jon Jones

In UFC president Dana White’s latest video blog, he provides exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of last month’s UFC 159 event in New Jersey.

There are some interesting clips in White’s vlog, including UFC matchmaker Joe Silva explaining to White what I’ve been complaining about forever – why fighters aren’t given a five-minute recovery period for accidental eye pokes like they are granted after shots to the groin.

White and Silva were watching the Gian Villante vs. Ovince St. Preux bout at the time of the discussion.

Also, remember how Nate Diaz was so disgusted Bryan Caraway was going around backstage hunting for the “Submission of the Night” bonus that Diaz ultimately called him a “f*g”? Well, the video shows Caraway greeting Pat Healy just as he comes behind the curtain telling Healy how he was cheering for “Bam Bam” to finish via TKO instead of tap out.

In addition, Joe Silva’s live facial expression to Jon Jones’ (pictured) mangled toe was pretty awesome.
