Mark Hunt (pictured) proved once again he’s got a chin made of granite after refusing to stay down after eating several bombs from Junior dos Santos at UFC 160 – before ultimately succumbing to a highlight reel spinning heel kick, of course. Unfortunately for Hunt, his toes are made of human bone just like the rest of us.

According to “The Super Samoan,” he broke one of his piggies in the opening round of their shootout which severely limited his mobility for the rest of the night.

“thanks for the support apologies about the result junior was to slick for me,got a broken toe first round, and had no movement, but like i said before if i am going out i am out on my back thanks again 1luv,” Hunt posted on his Facebook fan page.

Hunt didn’t attend the post-fight press conference following the knockout loss. UFC president Dana White reported the 39-year-old was immediately taken to the hospital for further examination, though made no mention of a broken toe.

Sure Hunt may have left Las Vegas with another loss on his record, but the evening wasn’t a complete wash for the veteran. Hunt and dos Santos each took home an extra $50,000 for “Fight of the Night” honors.
