UFC Middleweight Mark Munoz

The bad news for Ricardo Lamas, he’s no longer fighting “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung at UFC 162. The good news for the featherweight, he’s still going to get paid as if he stepping inside the Octagon.

On this week’s edition of FUEL TV’s “UFC Tonight,” it was confirmed Lamas has been pulled from the July 6 event. As UFC president Dana White promised over the weekend, Lamas will still be paid his show purse.

Jung, meanwhile, was promoted to a title fight against reigning featherweight king Jose Aldo at UFC 163 after Anthony Pettis was forced to withdraw with a knee injury.
