To say Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (pictured) has had a roller coaster career in Bellator MMA would be an understatement, and it’s only been three scraps in a matter of five months.
The coveted free agent kicked things off with a bang by posting a quick TKO victory over Przemyslaw Mysiala in January. However, Lawal was derailed in the light heavyweight tournament semifinals when Emanuel Newton put him to sleep with a flashy spinning back fist.
King Mo redeemed himself on Wednesday night with a one-punch KO on Seth Petruzelli in the opening round of their tango at Bellator 96.
The collective sighs of relief you heard immediately after was made by Viacom, Bellator and TNA Impact Wrestling executives.
