Sergio Pettis (pictured) is trying his best to be known as Sergio Pettis and NOT Anthony Pettis’ little brother. The up-and-coming 19-year-old is doing a pretty good job of separating himself thus far.
“The Phenom’s” latest accomplishment came Friday night at Resurrection Fighting Alliance 8. He bumped his professional record to a prefect 8-0 after posting a TKO victory over Dillard Pegg to capture the promotion’s inaugural flyweight crown.
While it only took Pettis 51 seconds to dispose of his opponent, in Pegg’s defense, he took the fight on just 10 days’ notice after Jeff Curran pulled out.
The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin hosted last night’s show.
