Hey, Anderson Silva fanboys. I understand you’re distraught that your hero was put to sleep by Chris Weidman at UFC 162, but we’ve got some news that may help you turn that frown upside down.
TheNewYorkDailyNews has obtained the nude picture Ben Watts of ESPN The Magazine took of UFC bantamweight Miesha Tate for the mag’s annual “The Body Issue.”
Feel better? Tate is rather happy about it.
“It was nerve-racking because even though it was a private beach, there’s still big houses all around and we had a couple of people trying to walk by the shoot,” says Tate. “They kept turning around and walking in the background and our crew kept having to hold up blinders so they wouldn’t see me.
“That took any modesty right away,” she adds, laughing. “I had to go with the flow.”
The other athletes slated to pose in their birthday suits in this year’s magazine include Matt Harvey, Colin Kaepernick, Kenneth Faried, Kerri Walsh Jennings, Giancarlo Stanton, Swin Cash, Courtney Force, John Wall, Vernon Davis, John Isner, Sydney Leroux, Carly Booth, Joffrey Lupul, Elena Hight, Agnieszka Radwanska, Chris Sharma and Daila Ojeda, Marlen Esparza and Tarah Gieger and 77-year-old golf legend Gary Player.
The issue hits newsstands July 12.
Tate and UFC bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey are currently serving as opposing coaches on “The Ultimate Fighter 18.” The bitter rivals will square off for Rousey’s crown once filming wraps on the reality show.
Speaking of the “Rowdy” one, whose nudy pics are better? Rousey donned a commemorative cover in last year’s edition.
