UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva

The fix is in, Anderson Silva (pictured) clearly threw the fight – so cry the conspiracy theorists.

Or, Silva clowned the wrong guy and now has egg all over his face. Although Chris Weidman was more than a 2-1 underdog against “The Spider,” many of his fellow fighters believed he would serve up the upset special at UFC 162.

Silva taunted and dared Weidman to smack him in his face, and guess what, the “All-American” did just that in the second round. Silva was so tipsy that he grabbed referee Herb Dean’s leg thinking it was Weidman’s when he regained consciousness.

Silva claims he doesn’t want the immediate rematch UFC president Dana White and Wiedman are eager to arrange. However, that could change once the 38-year-old clears the cobwebs.

UFC 162 took place inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
