“Meathead” and “The Hybrid” will get to squash their beef once and for all. Matt Mitrione (pictured) and Brendan Schaub will now battle at UFC 165.

The September 21 event takes place inside Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.

The heavyweights were initially slated to tango at “UFC on FOX: Johnson vs. Moraga,” but the bout was pushed back after Mitrione suffered a minor injury during training.

The bitter rivals had exchanged pleasantries on Twitter last month, with the normally polite Schaub even bringing Mitrione’s wife into the conversation. It will be good for the two to finally get their hands on each other.

Dave Diebert of Post Media News first reported the new date of the matchup, which the UFC subsequently confirmed.

Here is the card’s current roster:

Nandor Guelmino vs. TBD

Mitch Gagnon vs. Dustin Kimura

Chris Clements vs. Stephen Thopmson

Mark Bocek vs. Michel Prazeres

Ivan Menjivar vs. Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto

Myles Jury vs. Mike Ricci

Matt Mitrione vs. Brendan Schaub

Eddie Wineland vs. Renan Barao (UFC interim bantamweight champion)

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jon Jones (UFC light heavyweight champion)
