Just minutes after the curtain was drawn on UFC 163, the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced middleweight Mark Munoz (pictured) will enter hostile territory to battle Michael Bisping in England.
The October 26 event will take place inside Manchester Arena in Manchester.
Munoz ended his year-long hiatus in impressive fashion by dominating Tim Boetsch at UFC 162 in July. “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” is victorious in five of his last six bouts, with his lone loss during that span coming to now-champion Chris Weidman.
Bisping has alternated between wins and losses over his past five scraps. The Brit’s two defeats during his current run came against Chael Sonnen and Vitor Belfort.
“The Count” was last seen beating bitter rival Alan Belcher in April.
The 185-pound shootout will headline the Fox Sports 2 broadcast.
