Former UFC star Jason “Mayhem” Miller (pictured) was arrested in Orange County, California Sunday morning for domestic violence.
According to MMAMania, Miller was released on $50,000 bail early Monday and is now in the care of his family.
No word on who Miller allegedly assaulted.
MMAMania reported yesterday Miller was arrested for burglary, but that was inaccurate.
Speaking of burglary, Miller was charged with burglary and vandalism in August 2012 after he broke into the Mission Hills Church in Mission Viejo. Miller, who was found nude on a couch when the O.C. Sheriff’s Department arrived, reportedly trashed the place.
The charges were later reduced to just vandalism and subsequently dropped.
In August 2011, Miller was arrested in North Carolina for allegedly assaulting his sister at a party. He reportedly held her in a headlock and refused to let go.
Miller was hit with simple assault and false imprisonment.
Miller was cut from the UFC in May of last year after dropping a lopsided loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146. However, according to UFC president Dana White, it was the “crazy [expletive]” that happened backstage that got him axed.
