Crisis averted, UFC fans – even if the agreement was reached at the 11th hour. On Wednesday evening, FOX announced their new Fox Sports 1 channel will be available on DirecTV, Dish Network and Time Warner Cable when the network launches this Saturday.

However, FOX and the three cable providers are still in the process of finalizing a long-term deal. There is a strong possibility subscribers will be levied higher monthly fees once that happens.

Speed will be re-branded as FOX Sports 1, while FUEL TV will be renamed as Fox Sports 2. Please click HERE to locate FS1’s channel with your cable provider.

FOX previously came to terms with Comcast, Cablevision, Charter, Cox, Verizon, AT&T and Suddenlink, which accounted for roughly 45 million subscribers. With today’s announcement, FS1 will now be available in approximately 92 million homes.

The channel’s debut will feature nearly eight hours of Octagon action, including episodes of “UFC Ultimate Insider” (3:30-4PM),”UFC Unleashed” (4-5PM) and “UFC Tonight” (5-6PM). The evening will be topped off with a live two-hour “FOX UFC Saturday Prelims” special at 6PM ET/3PM PT, which will be immediately followed by a three-hour telecast of “UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen.”

Former light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Chael Sonnen headline the show.

TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts will be hosting the fights.
