You’ve gotta give it up to the UFC’s graphics department, because they have certainly turned their Photoshop skills up a notch. Starting with UFC 165‘s official event poster, the UFC’s billboards have endorsed a much more artistic feel.
The latest ad to hit the press is for “UFC 167: St-Pierre vs. Hendricks.”
At the same time, the last poster featuring reigning welterweight king Georges St-Pierre was arguably the best the promotion has ever produced (UFC 158 where Nick Diaz’s mug is hovering over GSP).
UFC 167’s promo piece is centered around Johny Hendricks’ one-punch KO prowess, as “The Power To Shock The World” is plastered across the top. Not too shabby.
I’m quite anxious to see what the poster for “UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva II” will look like.
UFC 167 takes place November 16 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Here is the card’s current roster:
Josh Koscheck vs. Tyron Woodley
Rory MacDonald vs. Robbie Lawler
Johny Hendricks vs. Georges St-Pierre (UFC welterweight champion)
