Things got off to a rocky start for Carlos Condit (pictured) against Martin Kampmann on Wednesday night, but the former UFC interim welterweight champion rallied nicely to avenge his controversial 2009 split decision defeat to Kampmann.
After spending much of the opening frame on his back, Condit managed to stay on his feet for the remainder of the fight and showcase his standup game. “The Natural Born Killer” surgically picked Kampmann apart with a variety of strikes, leaving the kickboxer battered and blooded by the time their scrap ended.
When the dust settled on their shootout at the :54 mark in the fourth round, it was Condit who left Indiana with his hand raised courtesy of TKO win.
UFC Fight Night took place inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
