Brandon Thatch (pictured) made his big league debut in spectacular fashion last month with a TKO victory over Justin Edwards. He will now have to enter hostile territory for his follow up in the UFC.
“Rukus” will battle veteran Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night 32 in Brazil. Thiago recently announced the November 9 scrap via Twitter.
Thatch owns an impressive 10-1 professional record. The lone blemish on his resume came in his second pro bout, a split decision defeat to Brandon Magana in 2008.
Thiago, meanwhile, collected a much-needed win by beating Michel Richard dos Prazeres in his last outing. He had lost four of his past five prior to May’s tango, including two consecutive.
The 170-pound affair will likely appear in the night’s prelims.
Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil hosts the festivities.
