On Monday afternoon, a middleweight affair between Derek Brunson and Braga Neto was announced for the UFC Fight for the Troops 3 lineup. The November 6 roster is now complete with 13 freebie bouts.
The UFC reported the scrap via Twitter.
Brunson snapped his two-fight losing skid by posting a unanimous decision victory over Chris Leben in his big league debut. The former Strikeforce star owns a 10-2 professional record.
Speaking of being victorious in their Octagon premiere, Neto beat Anthony Smith in June to extend his winning streak to four. The Brazilian hasn’t lost a tango since March of 2008.
The 185-pound contest will likely appear in the card’s prelims.
Fort Campbell in Kentucky will host the festivities.
Fox Sports 1 will broadcast the main card live. A middleweight tango between former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and Tim Kennedy headlines the gig.
