On this week’s edition of “UFC Tonight,” it was announced a rematch between reigning UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (pictured) and Joseph Benavidez will headline “The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale” on November 30.
Johnson became the UFC’s inaugural 125-pound king by taking a split decision victory over Benavidez at UFC 152. “Mighty Mouse” has gone on to defend his throne twice, most recently in a submission win over John Moraga in July.
Benavidez, meanwhile, has been on a three-fight tear since posting the biggest blemish on his resume. The Team Alpha Male-trained athlete scored a TKO win over Jussier Formiga earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 28.
TUF 18 Finale takes place inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Fox Sports 1 will broadcast the main card live.
Here is the event’s current lineup:
Nate Diaz vs. Gray Manard
Joseph Benavidez vs. Demetrious Johnson (UFC bantamweight champion)
