The recently troubled UFC light heavyweight Quinton “Rampage” Jackson pleaded not guilty Thursday on the two felony and four misdemeanor counts charged against him by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. These charges stem from his July 15th arrest after he was involved in a hit and run, while leading Orange County Police on a low-speed, but reckless chase.
The former UFC champion was officially charged on Monday. It was expected that he was going to enter a not guilty plea. He was diagnosed by medical phasicians as suffering from delaria.
TMZ.com was the first to report Jackson’s plea, and the pop culture website also stated that Jackson’s next court appearance is scheduled for November 3, which just happens to be two weeks prior to the date of his next rumored bout on November 15th.
UFC 91 will be the UFC’s first promotion in Portland, Oregon and Rampage has been rumored to be facing former PrideFC foe Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
