UFC Heavyewight Cheick Kongo

Former UFC fighters have had a rough go in Bellator MMA over the past two weeks. Last Friday, John Alessio, Rich Clementi and Marcus Davis all lost.

Things got off to a rocky start again last night when prior Octagon fighter Lavar Johnson was found unconscious on the canvas in merely 23 seconds in his heavyweight tournament semifinals bout against Vinicius Queiroz.

“Big” was downright planking after eating a right hook.

However, Cheick Kongo (pictured) managed advance to the tourney finals by unleashing a vicious barrage of knees and punches on Mark Godbeer in the show’s featured attraction.

Bellator 102 took place inside Visalia Convention Center in Visalia, California.
