UFC Conor McGregor

UFC featherweight Conor McGregor (pictured) is currently recovering from knee surgery, so we know he has plenty of time on his hands. After Monday’s controversial tweet, we also know he’s a Dr. Dre fan and that he would never choose between Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate – he’d simply take them both, at the same time.

A fan asked McGregor who he would prefer for “one night before the world ends…Ronda or Miesha?” He responded with Hitman’s infamous line from Dre’s “Let’s Get High” song, “One riidin dick, one lickin ma toessssss.”

Zoinks! The UFC’s latest golden boy quickly realized his keyboard may have gotten him in some hot water and promptly deleted the post. However, just because the message no longer appears on your timeline doesn’t mean it never happened.

So, McGregor subsequently issued an apology for his sexually offensive tweet.

The UFC recently fined and suspended Matt Mitrione and Nate Diaz for making derogatory remarks towards the LGBT community. McGregor’s comment wasn’t as offensive, unless your name is Ronda Rousey or Miesha Tate, so it will be interesting to see if anything happens to “Notorious.”

McGregor’s UFC president Dana White’s boy – I’m guessing, 20 lashes with a wet noodle.

Here’s the apology McGregor posted on his official Facebook page late Monday night:

I would like to personally apologize to both Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate. This morning I quoted a song on Twitter in an attempt to make a joke, which I now I see was totally unacceptable and offensive. I have infinite respect for Miesha and Ronda as individuals and as athletes. I have always been a big fan of women’s MMA and the incredible talented athletes that compete in the sport. I regret making this offensive comment and I sincerely apologize to anyone whom I offended, but especially Ronda and Miesha.
