Most MMA fans are familiar with Josh Burkman – if not from his time as a contestant on “The Ultimate Fighter 2,” or his 10 fights in the UFC, then for choking Jon Fitch unconscious this past June.

But who the heck is Steve Carl (pictured)?

Speaking of Carl and getting put to sleep, Burkman found himself caught in Carl’s triangle choke in the fourth round of Saturday’s scrap for World Series of Fighting’s inaugural welterweight title.

Instead of tapping out, Burkman opted to go nighty-night between Carl’s legs.

Carl was a heavy 3-1 underdog against the former UFC veteran.

WSOF 6 took place inside BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida.
