UFC fighters get paid to scrap inside the cage, not outside of it. That’s been a longtime defense when uneducated conservatives ask what the difference between MMA and a bar brawl is.
That’s why many wondered if middleweight Uriah Hall would be punished for throwing a right hand at disgraced former UFC star Jason “Mayhem” Miller last Friday after “BAMMA USA: Bad Beat” inside Commerce Casino in California.
Well, not only will Hall get a pass for winging a punch, but UFC president Dana White (pictured) intends to reward him for it.
“f*** no!!! I’m gonna give him a bonus!!!” White responded to a fan on Twitter when asked if he intends to fine Hall for his impromptu sparring session.
Not sure if White was being facetious, but he could very well stuff one of the UFC’s top secret discretionary bonuses in Hall’s pocket for smacking Miller. Perhaps we can call it the “’Bitch ass ni**a’ bonus.”
Miller, who is Caucasian, was taunting Hall by flipping him off and calling the African-American a, “Bitch ass ni**a” several times just inches from his face prior to the smack.
Despite cutting Miller in May of 2011, White claims he’s never had any personal issues against the veteran. However, Miller has gone on several extended Twitter rants directed towards his former boss since his firing.
