UFC Welterweight Johny Hendricks 133

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has medically suspended 11 athletes who competed in Saturday’s “UFC 167: St-Pierre vs. Hendricks” event.

The majority of the roster avoided bans, while others received minimal suspensions for precautionary reasons. However, three fighters, including near-welterweight champion Johny Hendricks (pictured), could be riding the pine for up to six months.

Although, the trio can return to action sooner with a doctor’s note.

Hendricks needs to obtain medical clearance on his right knee before he’s allowed to come back. But as the Bee Gees famously asked, “How Can You Mend A Broken Heart?”
