‘Jacare’ Souza vs. Francis Carmont Co-Headlines UFC Fight Night on February 15

UFC Middleweight Francis Carmont

On Tuesday, the UFC made a couple announcements regarding their next show to Brazil. First and foremost, the event has been pushed back one week to February 15.

Secondly, a middleweight shootout between Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Francis Carmont (pictured) will co-headline the festivities.

Souza has been on a vicious tear since losing his Strikeforce title to Luke Rockhold in September 2011. He’s finished off his last five victims in violent fashion.

Carmont will be riding an 11-fight winning streak into the tango. “Limitless'” last six scraps have come inside the Octagon, with four of them being decided by the judges.

Arena Jaragua in Jaragua do Sul will serve as host. Fox Sports 2 broadcasts the main card live in America.

A critical middleweight contest between Lyoto Machida and Gegard Mousasi headlines the gig.
