With so much attention being placed on Thanksgiving, it’s easy to forget there’s a UFC event this Saturday.
A rematch – or unofficial trilogy – between Nate Diaz (pictured) and Gray Maynard headlines the show.
Diaz won their first scrap via submission in an unofficial bout on “The Ultimate Fighter 5.” Diaz went on to take their season of the reality show.
Maynard edged Diaz for a close split decision victory in their sequel.
As far as Saturday goes, Maynard is a slight -145 odds-on favorite to leave Las Vegas with a win. Diaz, meanwhile, checks in just behind as a +115 underdog.
However, perhaps the real wagering line should be the over/under on Diaz showing up. Remember, the controversial lightweight claimed he had already RSVP’d to his high school reunion on Saturday.
Mandalay Bay Events Center in Nevada hosts the festivities.
Here are the wagering lines for Diaz vs. Maynard:
Favorite (-) Underdog (+)
Gray Maynard -145
Nate Diaz +115
