Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz finally returns to the Octagon tonight at UFC 106 against former champion Forrest Griffin. UFC 106 is officially underway and 5thRound.com’s exclusive coverage has begun! Check out the results after the jump.

Amir Sadollah Defeated Phil Baroni via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
1stRound: Baroni starts off with a flurry and a few uppercuts in the clinch but Sadollah is firing knees back and taking Baroni’s punches. Sadollah’s muay-thai clinch seems to be giving Baroni some problems, Sadollah has shown an ability to take Baroni’s punches fine until Broni scores a takedown. Baroni is trying to ground-and-pound while Sadollah is looking for a submission. Both fighters stand up and continue to exchange Baroni eats a big knee as it looks as though the New York Bad Ass is slowing down who is bloodied as the horn sounds.
2ndRound: Sadollah starts with a few leg kicks and knees as Baroni has clearly slowed down. Baroni lands a right hook but eats a push kick to the face. Sadollah’s pressure is getting to a tiring Baroni who eats a flying knee as the fighters clinch against the cage and exchange shots.
3rdRound: Sadollah starts with more leg kicks and lands a right hand as he follow up with more knees. Baroni looks exhausted and his right leg is starting to turn purple after eating so many leg kicks. Baroni eats a pair of elbows that open another cut on his forehead. Baroni hasn’t shown any offense as Sadollah is teeing off with anything he wants. Baroni has to get a lot of credit for surviving Sadollah’s offensive onslought.
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira Defeated Luiz Cane via TKO (Strikes) at 1:56 in the 1stRound
1stRound: The fight starts very tentatively with both fighters feeling each other out. Nogueira lands a straight left and lands a left hook that has Cane in trouble as he eats a couple of more left hooks including one that drops him and ends the fight.
Paulo Thiago Defeated Jacob Volkmann via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)
1stRound: Thiago starts with a headkick that’s blocked but gets the crowd going. Volkmann clinches Thiago un against the cage but gets tripped and ends up on his back. Volkmann reverses the position and gets back to his feet but gets taken down again by Thiago. Volkmann lands a nice elbow as they separate from the clinch and Thiago counters with and uppercut and a right hook that drops Volkmann at the horn but he’s saved by the bell.
2ndRound: Thiago catches a Volkmann kick and drops him again but Volkmann takes Thiago down and ends up in side control. Volkmann starts to land a few strikes from Thiago’s back but Thiago fights back to his feet and back into the clinch. Volkmann takes Thiago’s back again but gets reversed and eats a big punch for his troubles. Thiago backs up out of Volkmann’s guard and throws another bomb that lands as the round ends.
3rdRound: Volkmann tries to push forward but eats a straight right that drops him and gives up side control once again. Volkmann shoots in for a telegraphed takedown that Thiago easily escapes but Volkmann’s perseverance gets him another takedown. Volkmann tries to crucifix Thiago and starts to land a few punches until Thiago escapes and ends up in side control but Volkmann sinks in a darce choke from the bottom that Thiago narrowly escapes.
Josh Koscheck Defeated Anthony Johnson via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:47 in the 2ndRound
1stRound: Koscheck catches Johnson with a left hook as both fighters are feeling each other out. Koscheck landed a big right hook but Johnson shakes it off. Johnson lands a couple of leg kicks and eat a counter punch but is able survive it. Koscheck takes an illegal knee to the forehead and looks to be injured, referee Mario Yamasaki takes a point away from Johnson. Koscheck tells the doctor that he has blurry vision but wants to continue. Koschek lands another overhand right but eats a few leg kicks.Koscheck goes for a single-leg takedown and takes Johnson’s back and lands a few punches.
2ndRound: Johnson gets accidentally poked in the eye but the fight quickly resumes. Koscheck scores with a left head kick and lands another overhand right, Koscheck flurries but Johnson says that he got poked in the eye again. Both fighters throw bombs at each other and shake them off, Koscheck scores another takedown and is in Johnson’s half guard and is starting to throw short elbows. Johnson is trying to keep Koscheck at bay but eats a few elbows in between. Koscheck takes Johnson’s back and gets a rear naked choke that forces Johnson to submit.
Forrest Griffin Defeated Tito Ortiz via Split Decision (29-28, 27-30, 28-29)
1stRound: Griffin catches Ortiz with a short left hook and also lands a leg kick. After some exchanges, Ortiz shoots in and gets the takedown and begins to go to work. Griffin attempts a kimura submission and uses it to get back to his feet. The action moves to the clinch with Griffin’s back up against the cage. Griffin lands a solid leg kick and a 1-2 punch combination.
2ndRound: Both fighters throw and miss an overhand right. Ortiz catches Griffin with a short left hook and then catches a Griffin leg kick and takes him down with it. Ortiz tries to get into the half guard but Griffin gets back up. Ortiz eats a front kick that pops out his mouthpiece and pauses the action. Griffin lands a couple of combinations but gets taken down again. Ortiz lands a couple of elbows from the top as Griffin has a cut on his face that’s starting to gush blood. Griffin sweeps Ortiz and ends up on top in Ortiz’ half guard.
3rdRound: Griffin lands a small left jab and a 1-2 punch combination. Griffin is starting to throw and land more strikes in the beginning of the final round. Griffin lands a big right hook that Ortiz only partially blocks. Ortiz looks really inactive so far into the round. Griffin is picking Ortiz apart but hasn’t landed anything big yet. With under :90 seconds to go, Ortiz throws his first combi]nation of the last round. Griffin has landed everything at will and stuffed two Ortiz takedown attempts. Both fighters exchange punches as the final horn buzzes.
