It’s that time again as “UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II” is only hours away as the former light heavyweight champions will square off once again after Ortiz took a narrow split decision against Griffin at UFC 59.

Ngo-stradamus is back to help predict the results for tomorrow night’s Pay-Per-View so if you want to take notes and see if you can win some money at the sportsbooks, you’re in luck.

Let’s get right into the predictions.

Phil Baroni (170) vs. Amir Sadollah (170)
Phil Baroni returns to the Octagon against former Season 7 winner of “The Ultimate Fighter”, Amir Sadollah. Both fighters are in need of a win but both are on different parts of their careers. Baroni is going to need to keep the fight ugly and close while the more well rounded Sadollah will look to take advantage of Baroni’s aggressiveness and lack of conditioning. Ngo-stradamus predicts Amir Sadollah defeating Phil Baroni via Submission in the 3rdRound.

Luiz Cane (205) vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (205)
The highly anticipated UFC debut of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, brother of former UFC heavyweight champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. The smaller Nogueira faces a tough test in Luiz Cane but should be able to outclass Cane in the stand-up and we don’t think Cane will want to test Nogueira’s ground game. Ngo-stradamus predicts Antonio Rogerio Nogueira defeating Luiz Cane via TKO in the 2ndRound.

Paulo Thiago (169) vs. Jacob Volkmann (170)
Jacob Volkmann will also be making his Octagon debut against Paulo Thiago, who is coming off of his first loss of his career to Jon Fitch. Both fighters have the ability to submit their opponents which makes a chessmatch between the two fighters a likely scenario. Volkmann trains in the same camp as UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. Ngo-stradamus predicts Jacob Volkmann defeating Paulo Thiago via Decision.

Anthony Johnson (170) vs. Josh Koscheck (171)
The co-main event pits two possible contenders to the UFC welterweight title against each other. Johnson recently fought at UFC 104 where he easily knocked out a much smaller Yoshiyuki Yoshida, while Koscheck took out Frank Trigg at UFC 103. Johnson’s striking is more explosive than Koscheck’s, but Koscheck’s wrestling is equally as explosive. It’ll be interesting to see where the fight ends up and who can impose their gameplan better. Ngo-stradamus predicts Josh Koscheck defeating Anthony Johnson via Decision.

Forrest Griffin (205) vs. Tito Ortiz (204)
Is the 2009 Tito Ortiz healthy? That’s the million-dollar question as Griffin looks to bounce back from a horrible loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 101. Ortiz, as always will want to take the fight to the ground and pound out Griffin. “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 1 winner has the better striking but needs to stay away from Ortiz’ shots. Ngo-stradamus predicts Tito Ortiz defeating Forrest Griffin via TKO in the 3rdRound.
