Well, it appears UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz (pictured) has just given ex-girlfriend and mother of his twin boys Jenna Jameson more ammunition in their non-stop Twitter battle.
At approximately 4AM on Monday, Ortiz, whose birth name is Jacob Christopher Ortiz, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a single-car collision in West Los Angeles.
“Ortiz was driving northbound on the I-405 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the concrete center median,” the CHP’s press release stated, which was obtained by KTLA 5 News.
Ortiz was driving a 2012 Porsche Panamera and had two passengers in the car. The vehicle “was moderately damaged” and no one was injured.
In May, Jameson accused Ortiz of domestic violence and prior drug abuse. The off-again-on-again porn star professed to have proof Ortiz has abused drugs in the past “and faked drug tests” in order to fight for the UFC. She posted two pictures on her Twitter account that contained prescription drug bottles and syringes, insinuating they belonged to Ortiz.
Ortiz vehemently denied the claims.
Ortiz has been in sole custody of their boys, Journey and Jesse, since April. He believes Jameson has substance abuse issues and is not fit to care for their children. Jameson claims Ortiz has been an absentee father who is just now entering their lives.
This isn’t the first time Ortiz has had legal troubles. The 38-year-old was arrested for felony domestic violence at the Southern California home he and Jameson share back in April 2010. No charges were ultimately filed for that “misunderstanding.”
Jameson wasted no time in addressing Ortiz’s latest predicament by tweeting, “I knew karma would get him! I am so disappointed in the father of my children. This proves my children should be with their loving and capable mommy.”
Ortiz was set to make his Bellator debut in November, but suffered a broken neck and was forced to withdraw from his fight against Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
