‘UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Thomson’ Undergoes Last-Minute Change

With the last-minute subtraction of the Pascal Krauss vs. Adam Khaliev preliminary bout from the “UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Thomson” lineup, the promotion promised a new tango would be added to the January 25 event in its place.

Enter welterweights George Sullivan and Mike Rhodes, who have agreed to make their big league debuts at the 11th hour.

The UFC announced the matchup Tuesday via Twitter.

Because the scrap marks the first time each of the little-known fighters will be entering the Octagon, it is believed they will kick off the festivities as the only fight to stream live on UFC Fight Pass. Therefore, Nikita Krylov vs. Walt Harris will get bumped to the Fox Sports 1 broadcast.

No word on why the contest between Krauss and Khaliev was pulled from the roster.

United Center in Chicago, Illinois serves as host.

FOX airs the main card live beginning at 8PM ET/5PM PT.
