UFC welterweight “top contender” Josh Koscheck had a huge night at UFC 106, inside and outside of the Octagon. His submission of Anthony Johnson not only earned him 2b status on the 170-pound totem pole, but he also walked away with Submission of the Night and Fight of the Night Honors, a cool $140,000 in total.

Following his 2ndRound rear-naked submission, Kos called out Dan Hardy, the gritty Brit that the UFC has slated for next crack at welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre’s crown, stating they should tango before Hardy gets handed to GSP.

Koscheck lost a unanimous decision to St-Pierre at UFC 74 in August 2007.

Here are the night’s big winners:

Fight of the Night:

Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson ($70,000/each)

Knockout of the Night:

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira ($70,000)

Submission of the Night:

Josh Koscheck ($70,000)
