Strikeforce Luke Rockhold

Alright, ladies (and some gentlemen). I get it. I’m secure enough in my manhood to admit that Luke Rockhold (pictured) is a dreamboat. However, on Wednesday night the former Strikeforce middleweight champion proved he’s also a damn good mixed martial artist.

Rockhold made quick work out of Constantinos Philippou by landing a kick to the midsection that ending things at the 2:31 mark in the opening round.

The strike not only earned Rockhold the victory, but also an additional $50,000 for “Knockout of the Night” honors.

Following the win, Rockhold demanded a rematch with Vitor Belfort … on American soil this time. If not, he said a scrap against Michael Bisping would be a good consolation prize.

UFC Fight Night 35 took place inside Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
