Urijah Faber and Mike Brown are going to have to wait until November 5th to get their featherweight title bout on. The WEC announced that they are going to postpone the September 10th event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida due to Hurricane Ike. WEC Vice President of Operations and Production Peter Dropick told the media that, “for the safety of our fans, the fighters and our staff we felt it was in the best interest to make this decision.”

The entire card will be carried over to November 5th when more favorable conditions for the event should be available. Hurricane Ike is currently listed as a Category 3 storm with winds reaching up to 120mph.

WEC officials have said that fans who cannot attend the November 5th event can request a refund at their point of purchase.
