There will be some Blackzilian on former Blackzilian crime going down in London. Early Thursday morning, it was announced a knee injury has forced Ross Pearson out of his March 8 scrap against Melvin Guillard (pictured).
Michael Johnson has agreed to face his former teammate at UFC Fight Night 37.
Guillard and Pearson were issued an immediate mulligan following their no contest in October when Pearson ate a pair of illegal knees to the head. Prior to that tango, Gillard steamrolled Mac Danzig for a knockout victory.
Johnson will be riding a two-fight winning streak into the shootout. “Menace” was seen just last month putting Gleison Tibau to sleep at UFC 168.
Guillard and Johnson used to train together at the Blackzilian camp in Boca Raton before Guillard eventually found his way to American Top Team.
O2 Arena in London, England hosts the festivities.
UFC Fight Pass streams the entire event live.
