Wanderlei Silva has his sights set on Michael Bisping saying. “Joey Silva called me, talked to me to change my opponent. I said for [Bisping], for sure because he’s one guy that talks many bulls*** about me, talking I’m afraid of him. Now he wants to fight with me? I’m going to sign this week to fight with him, just waiting for him to sign,” Silva said.

“I need to study more English because all my friends and fans come here and talk to me. My American fans tell me, ‘hey kick his ass!’, but I don’t know what this is so much,” a very confident Silva continued.

Needing a win after suffering back-to-back losses in the UFC, the former Pride middleweight champion hopes that an impressive win over Bisping will put his career back on track.

Bisping on the other hand recovered from his devastating knockout loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 100 with a stoppage of Denis Kang at UFC 105 in front of his fellow countrymen.

Silva is ready to return to fighting after a change of opponent and months of downtime.

“I’m going to be kicking the Bisping ass. I don’t know what is correct but I’m going to kick Bisping’s ass for my fans,” the former champion proclaimed.
