As the old adage goes, “You gotta walk before you can run.” For former UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva (pictured), you gotta kick a giant rubber ball before you can go back to kicking human beings.
Sure, it’s not like kicking Chris Weidman’s kneecap, but it’s a start.

Silva, who made significant strides in his rehab by walking unassisted on a treadmill in February, released a video to UOL.com showcasing the next step in his recovery process.
UFC president Dana White said Silva’s doctor believes the most decorated champion in Octagon history can return to action by the end of this year.
“The Spider” turns 39 in April.
