On Wednesday, a light heavyweight shootout between Ryan Bader (pictured) and Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante was added to the UFC 174 roster.
The UFC announced the matchup via Twitter.
Bader is coming off December’s unanimous decision victory over Anthony Perosh where he broke his right hand. “Darth” has alternated between wins and losses over his past five outings.
Cavalcante has won one of his two scraps inside the octagon. The former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion rebounded from a knockout loss to Thiago Silva by TKO’ing Igor Pokrajac in November.
The 205-pound affair will likely appear in the main card.
The June 14 takes place inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada.
Here is the card’s current lineup:
Kajan Johnson vs. Tae Hyun Bang
Roland Delorme vs. Michinori Tanaka
Yves Jabouin vs. Mike Easton
Daniel Sarafian vs. Kiichi Kunimoto
Ryan Bader vs. Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante
Tyron Woodley vs. Rory MacDonald
Ali Bagautinov vs. Demetrious Johnson (UFC flyweight champion)
