And then there were 10, as in only 10 scraps that will appear in Saturday’s “UFC 172: Jones vs. Teixeira” event after Vagner Ceara Rocha suffered an undisclosed injury during a last-minute training session.

Rocha, who agreed to meet lightweight Joe Ellenberger (pictured) on just five days’ notice, initially replaced Yancy Medeiros when Medeiros was bumped to fight Jim Miller on the show’s main card.

It’s unfortunate news for Ellenberger, who endured weeks of rigorous training and already made the trek all the way to Baltimore from California to make his UFC debut.

The good news for the octagon rookie is the UFC has plenty of events on its calendar, so he’ll be reassigned shortly.

Ellenberger and Rocha were slated to kick off the Fox Sports 1 portion of the festivities. Danny Castillo vs. Charlie Brenneman has been bumped from the UFC Fight Pass stream in its place.

UFC 172 takes place inside Baltimore Arena in Maryland.

Here is the show’s revised agenda:

Preliminary Card:

(UFC Fight Pass 7:30PM ET/4:30PM PT)

Chris Beal vs. Patrick Willians

(Fox Sports 1 8PM ET/5PM PT)
