TUF10Finale

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has just released the paydays for this past Saturday’s “The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights Finale.” Lightweight Frankie Edgar was the night’s top earner, pocketing a total of $71,000 for his efforts inside The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The total disclosed payroll for the event was $351,000, with all “TUF Heavyweight” contestants given the same $8k show/$8k win bonus pay structure, including finalists Roy Nelson and Brendan Schaub, however excluding a certain bearded man.

UFC president Dana White has previously stated that Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson may be getting a contract SLIGHTLY different from his “TUF” cast members. Given Kimbo’s drawing power, it’s certainly understandable why they broke him off a little extra cheddar in addition to his $25K, however those bonuses don’t need to be reported to the NSAC.

Nelson took home the TUF 10 crown as well as the highly coveted six-figure UFC contract by knocking out Schaub in the 1stRound of their matchup. So regardless of what Edgar’s 1099 states, Nelson was the evening’s biggest winner – literally and figuratively.

Here is a breakdown of the fighters’ salaries, including Fight Bonuses:
