After hosting their first of two shows on Saturday, the UFC awarded CB Dollaway (pictured), Gegard Mousasi, Niklas Backstrom and Magnus Cedenblad each an additional $50,000 for their special performances at “UFC Fight Night: Munoz vs. Mousasi.”
The UFC opted not to hand out a “Fight of the Night” winner. Instead, the promotion dished out four “Performance of the Night” awards.
Dollaway posted the biggest win of his career with a unanimous decision over Francis Carmont in the show’s co-main event.
Mousasi was a 3-1 odds-on favorite to beat Mark Munoz in the night’s featured attraction, and he proved the Gambling Gods right by quickly disposing of “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” with a rear-naked choke in the opening round.
Speaking of RNCs, Backstrom slapped one on Tom Niinimaki to score a second round victory.
Cedenblad used a guillotine choke to get past Krzysztof Jotko.
UFC Fight Night 41 took place inside O2 World in Berlin, Germany.
