Spike TV has released the ratings for “The Ultimate Fighter Heavyweights Finale” and to nobody’s surprise, the catchweight bout between Kimbo Slice and Houston Alexander nabbed the highest rating during the 3-hour live event.

Slice vs. Alexander was seen by 5.2 million people and took home a 5.9 rating in the all important 18-34 year old demographic.

It was the third most watched UFC fight on Spike TV, losing out to only Slice vs. Roy Nelson on the 3rd episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” this past season and the UFC 75 main event bout between Quinton Jackson and Dan Henderson.

The finale as a whole averaged 3.7 million viewers with a 2.4 rating, a strong showing for a season that seemed to lose some steam following Kimbo’s loss only 3 shows in.
