In what was a surprise to nobody, clothing company Hoelzer Reich has officially been banned as a sponsor of fighters that compete in both the UFC and Strikeforce.

Things came to a boiling point after UFC newcomer Joe Brammer wore apparel from the company while making his entrance to the Octagon on Saturday night.

Brammer’s fight against Mark Bocek was scheduled as an undercard bout, but earned airtime in between bouts after Bocek ended the fight quickly by securing a 1stRound submission.

Hoelzer Reich’s logo has a strong resemblance to the Nazi signs that were used during the days of Hilter.

The UFC was the first to dump the sponsor and Strikeforce executive Mike Afromowitz said his promotion had followed suit after telling MMA FanHouse, “we will not permit our fighters to wear this type of apparel in our cage.”
