Ngo-stradamus is back with his predictions for “UFC 107: Penn vs. Sanchez.” Yes, I unfortunately went an uneventful 3-2 for “UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin 2,” but keep in mind that we threw in an underdog pick to keep things interesting. Check out our predictions after the jump!

Paul Buentello vs. Stefan Struve
Struve has won his last two bouts including his most recent win at UFC 104 in October. Buentello has also won his last two. This will be a match between a submission fighter and a striker. Struve has extremely long legs so if Buentello is in the guard, he can get caught. Buentello has knockout power and Struve has been stopped twice in his career. Ngo-stradamus predicts Stefan Struve defeats Paul Beuntello via Submission in the 2ndRound.

Jon Fitch vs. Mike Pierce
Interesting match-up between the welterweights. Fitch obviously has more big fight experience, but Pierce has only tasted defeat once in his first 10 fights. Fitch’s experience should be the key in the fight as he should be able to control where the fight takes place. Ngo-stradamus predicts Jon Fitch defeats Mike Pierce via Unanimous Decision.

Kenny Florian vs. Clay Guida
New coach for Kenny Florian to help prepare for the relentless Clay Guida. Florian’s conditioning has never been an issue which should make it tough for Guida to impose his will. Florian has shown a propensity to struggle against fighters who can keep him down, but the question is can Guida get him down? Ngo-stradamus predicts Kenny Florian defeats Clay Guida via TKO in the 3rdRound.

Cheick Kongo vs. Frank Mir
Kongo has really good striking while Mir has strong striking and great grappling. Mir’s grappling alone will negate Kongo’s kicks which takes away half of his arsenal. Mir has been stopped in the past so if Kongo can avoid takedowns and catch Mir, it could be a big upset. Ngo-stradamus predicts Frank Mir defeats Cheick Kongo via Submission in the 2ndRound.

Diego Sanchez vs. BJ Penn (UFC Lightweight Champion)
BJ Penn is out to prove that he’s the most dominant lightweight ever while Diego Sanchez looks to win his first title. Penn has a clear stand-up advantage, but Sanchez will at least be able to compete. Both have strong ground games and Penn has a big submission advantage as well. Conditioning could be a factor as this could be a 5Round affair. Ngo-stradamus predicts BJ Penn defeats Diego Sanchez via TKO in the 3rdRound.
