The unemployment line just got a bit more crowded. Bellator MMA has released 19 fighters from its roster, including former title contenders Eric Prindle (pictured) and Anthony Leone.
MMAFighting.com confirmed with Bellator executives that all of the athletes were cut before newly-appointed president Scott Coker took the helm last Wednesday. Therefore, if Coker sees fit, some of the fighters could be brought back.
Prindle has lost five of his last six scraps, including three straight.
Leone has dropped two consecutive contests, with his most recent coming in March’s submission loss to bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas.
