Hazelett Fills In For Injured Condit Against Daley

UFC veteran Dustin Hazelett has been asked to fill-in for the injured Carlos Condit at UFC 108 against Paul Daley. Hazelett hasn’t competed in 2009, but has won his last two fights, both inside the Octagon.

Some may see this as a step down from an opponent like Condit, who was a former WEC champion, but Hazelett will be a tough opponent for Daley.

Should Daley win impressively, it could put him one fight away from a potential title shot.

Hazelett is also getting an opportunity to put out “Semtex” and make himself relevant in a crowded welterweight division.

It should be an interesting fight for Daley as Hazelett owns an impressive submission game, something that he couldn’t avoid in his loss to Jake Shields.
