When Matthew McConaughey played the creepy character David Wooderson in the 1993 cult classic “Dazed and Confused,” he dropped one of the most unforgettable lines in the history of ever.
“That’s what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age,” Wooderson said.
According to Michael Bisping (pictured), Luke Rockhold has watched that movie one too many times because he’s trying to bring Wooderson to life.
“When Luke Rockhold is done making a douche bag out of himself, hanging out at pool parties with teenagers, if he wants to get back to business and step into the Octagon, I’m the man for the job,” Bisping stated on this week’s edition of “UFC Tonight.” “After his last fight, he called me out. But then he said he hurt his little pinky toe. If his toe’s healed up, and he wants to get back to business, we can go toe to toe, or pinky to pinky.”
Rockhold collected his second straight win by submitting Tim Boetsch at UFC 172. He immediately called for a rematch with Vitor Belfort or a grudge match against Bisping.
However, he broke his right pinky toe during the April bout that was expected to keep him sidelined for a few weeks.
Bisping, meanwhile, looks to bounce back from a lopsided decision loss to Tim Kennedy when he fights Cung Le next month in China. If “The Count” can collect a win over the 42-year-old, perhaps the UFC could then arrange a tango between the archenemies.
Assuming, of course, Rockhold can manage to pull himself away from all the summertime pool parties…
