The Las Vegas Police Department still can’t locate War Machine (pictured) to arrest him for allegedly beating his porn star girlfriend, Christy Mack, and another victim last Friday. Here’s a hint, he’s on Twitter.
Granted, War Machine, who legally changed his name from Jon Koppenhaver, could be tweeting from anywhere at the moment, so I understand that I’m no detective.
In the 32-year-old’s latest series of posts, he claims his surprise proposal went awry.
“@ChristyMack I just wanted to see your face when I surprised you with the ring …this is a nightmare. You’re in my thoughts,” War Machine wrote late Sunday night. “I’m not a bad guy, I went to surprise my gf, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life.
“The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do but at the end of the day it’s all just heart breaking.”
This comes on the heels of the messages he issued the day after the incident.
“@ChristyMack I love you and hope you’re okay,” he wrote. “I came him early to surprise you and help you set up for your convention. I can’t believe what I found and can’t believe what happened. All I wanted was to surprise you and help and do something nice…now this..
“@ChristyMack I’m so heart broken…in all ways. I will always love you.”
War Machine doesn’t admit any wrongdoing, but his posts coincide with what the rumor mill is suggesting happened. According to the twitterverse, which may or may not be reliable, War Machine arrived to the home he shares with Mack and found her with an unnamed MMA fighter.
An altercation ensued and Mack and the man were sent to the hospital to treat “severe, but non-life threatening injuries.”[email protected] of Twitter fame says Mack suffered a broken jaw and eye socket in the assault.
Mack has been relatively silent since the incident. However, she wrote on Twitter Sunday night that she will be releasing a statement this morning “to put many rumors to rest.”
War Machine was fired immediately from Bellator MMA after news broke of what supposedly occurred.
