Exactly one week after War Machine (pictured), formerly known as Jon Koppenahver, allegedly assaulted his former girlfriend Christy Mack, the troubled fighter was finally arrested in Simi Valley, CA on Friday at 1:45PM PT.

According to Nixle.com, the United States Marshals Service and local police took War Machine into custody without incident at an Extended Stay America Hotel.

The 32-year-old had a small amount of cash with him.

The United States Marshals Service turned War Machine over to the Simi Valley Police Department for booking. He was then transported to the Ventura County Jail.

According to TMZ.com, there are seven warrants out for War Machine’s arrest – 2 felony batteries, 1 for strangulation, 2 felony domestic violence with great bodily injury, felony coercion with the threat of force, felony assault with a deadly weapon, and misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon.

On Monday, Mack released a statement via Twitter with the disturbing details of what took place at her Las Vegas home. Accompanied by four gruesome pictures, the porn star said she suffered 18 broken bones around her eye, a fractured nose, broken and missing teeth, a fractured rib, ruptured liver, several lesions from a knife and much more from the hands of War Machine.

War Machine has been on the run ever since the altercation, which also included Mack’s male friend.

War Machine was fired from Bellator MMA the minute the incident hit the news last Friday.

Of course, this isn’t War Machine’s first brush up with the law. He has been arrested at least two other times since 2010, serving a year behind bars on each occasion.

War Machine and Mack had been dating for roughly a year, but Mack said he broke up with her in May. However, they were photographed together at an MMA event in Temecula, CA as recently as last month.
